Support for individuals and families who have a loved one struggling with addiction.
Hi, I'm Mariah.
(You may know me as Kay from Instagram. Kay is my middle name)
Wife to an amazing husband & dog mom to our girl, Risotto.
I spent many years struggling to navigate my husband’s alcohol use… arguing, begging him to stop drinking, telling him he had a problem…
It was hard. Resources felt limited. And I had no clue how to help.
I get it, I know at times you feel like this is a hopeless journey.
If you’re like me, at times you questions whether you should stay in this relationship because you've been told so many times “you can't help them change”…
Every year, 23 million Americans struggle with addiction, and that number doesn't even represent the number of people who are impacted by their loved ones addiction.
I was one of those people.
My husbands addiction was the source of constant pain.
I tried so many things from therapy, to al anon, to asking my friends and family for their advice, and no one had answers for me.
I felt defeated.
Just when I was about to give up, I discovered the Community Reinforcement and Family Training Method (CRAFT), the leading evidence-based approach for supporting families affected by addiction. It offered a refreshing perspective grounded in research, hope, and proactive solutions.
CRAFT has a the HIGHEST success rate for getting your loved one into treatment for their addiction.
Clinical research shows that 7/10 people who implement the CRAFT Method successfully get their partner into treatment - within just 12 weeks.
I learned that family can significantly impact addiction recovery, but we need the right skills to do so. After implementing CRAFT in my own relationship, I experienced a life-changing outcome.
Now, it’s my passion to share CRAFT with others.
In 2024, I founded “Healing Together,” a CRAFT Informed Coaching Community aimed at bridging the knowledge gap for families dealing with addiction. My goal is to equip you with the skills necessary to positively influence your loved ones’ recovery. I offer 1:1 coaching as well as access to an online community with CRAFT Informed Trainings and ongoing support.
While this work can be challenging, I believe that together, we can make a difference. You may feel like you’ve exhausted all options, but I encourage you to explore CRAFT and seek support—it’s the training I wish I had sooner.
I am so honored to be a part of your journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
With love,
Mariah Kay

My Approach
I don’t believe in waiting for your partner or loved one to hit rock bottom.
I don’t believe in detaching with love.
I believe we have a HUGE impact on helping our loved ones get sober. It’s proven.
My approach is rooted in the CRAFT method—a research-backed, compassionate approach that teaches you how to:
Communicate in ways that actually get through
Reinforce your partner’s sober behavior
Set boundaries that protect your peace
And inspire change without threats, ultimatums, or walking on eggshells
But I also know it’s not just about your partner.
This is about you, too.
Your nervous system. Your confidence. Your peace. Your life.
Whether we work together 1:1 or inside the Healing Together membership, my approach centers you—because when you feel stronger, more grounded, and less alone, everything changes.
This isn’t about fixing him. It’s about changing the dynamic—so sobriety, healing recovery becomes possible for both of you.
